Who can register?

Executive Programme can be pursued by a student who cleared the CS Foundation Programme, Graduate of all streams (except Fine Arts), CPT passed of ICAI, Foundation Program passed of ICAI-CMA. This is subject to a pre-examination test.

Mandatory Pre-Examination Test

A mandatory Pre-Examination Test has been introduced as a pre-requisite for seeking enrolment in CS Examinations. The Pre-Examination test shall be conducted by ICSI for all the students of Executive Programme(under New Syllabus). This Test will serve as eligibility criteria for appearing in the main Examination.

Fees:In order to take this test, a fee of Rs1000/- is to be paid, which can be paid online by the students who have registered or have switched over to the New Syllabus of Executive Programme Stage and are yet to remit fees towards Pre-exam test.

Once the payment is realised, you will get an invitation (along with login ID and default password) within 3-5 working days, to join the Online portal for giving the Pre Examination Test.

Application for Registration:

Students have to register online at    ICSI   website   within the prescribed cut off dates, that is:

  • 28th February for appearing in both modules in December Exams in the same year.

  • 31st May for appearing in single module in December Examination in the same year.

  • 31st August for appearing in both modules in June Exam in the succeeding year.

  • 30th November for appearing in single module in June Examination in the succeeding year.


 What are the various subjects to be covered in order to successfully complete the Executive Programme?

Under the new syllabus of CS Executive w.e.f 01.02.2013, there are 8 papers divided into 2 modules:

 Module 1 (4 papers)  

  1. Jurisprudence, Interpretation & General Laws

  2. Company Law

  3. Setting up of Business Entities and Closure

  4. Tax Laws 

 Module 2 (4 papers) 
  1. Corporate & Management Accounting
  2. Securities Laws & Capital Markets 

  3. Economic, Business and Commercial Laws 
  4. Financial and Strategic Management

Total Course Fee at the times of registration:

For CS Foundation passed students Rs.9,500 (Rs.8,500 + Rs.1000

Pre-Examination Test Fee) 

For Commerce Graduate Students Rs.10,000 (Rs.9,000 + Rs.1000 

Pre-Examination Test Fee)

For Non-Commerce Students Rs.11,000 (Rs.10,000 + Rs.1000 

Pre-Examination Test Fee)

For CPT passed of ICAI / Foundation passed of ICAI-CMA Rs.13,500 (Rs.12,500 + Rs.1000

Pre-Examination Test Fee) 

Total application fee for appearing in the examination: INR 1200 per module.


General Guidelines

To register for ICSI CS Foundation/Executive/Professional programme, the candidates need to keep the following list of documents ready:

1. Photograph of the candidate

2. Signature of the candidate

3. DOB certificate (or 10th pass certificate)

4. Roll number (if appearing in 10+2)

5. 12th passing certificate/marksheet

6. Identity Proof (Aadhar Card/Passport/Voter ID/Pan Card/Driving License/Ration Card)

7. Category Certificate (if belonging to SC/ST or physically handicapped)


Application for appearing in the examinations:

 

The last date for submission for application is:

  • 25th March (with late fee of Rs. 250, 9th April) for June examination.

  • 25th September (with late fee of Rs. 250, 10th October) for December examination.

Medium of Examination

The Institute allows facility to students to appear in examination in English as well as in Hindi. (Except Business Communication subject of Foundation Program).


Qualifying Marks

A candidate is declared to have passed the Foundation / Executive / Professional examination, if he/she secures at one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects.
