Who can register?

Professional Programme can be pursued only after clearing the Executive Programme of CS Course.

Application for Registration:

Students have to register online at www.icsi.eduA student is admitted to the Professional examination only after a minimum period of nine calendar months has elapsed since his passing the Executive examination.

What are the various subjects to be covered in order to successfully complete the Professional Programme?

Under the new syllabus of CS Professional w.e.f 01.09.2017, there are 9 papers divided into 3 modules:

Module 1 (3 papers)
  1. Governance, Risk Management, Compliances and Ethics

  2. Advanced Tax Laws

  3. Drafting, Pleadings and Appearances

Module 2 (3 papers)
  1. Secretarial Audit, Compliance Management and Due Diligence

  2. Corporate Restructuring, Insolvency, Liquidation & Winding-up

  3. Resolution of Corporate Disputes, Non-Compliances & Remedies

Module 3 (3 papers)
  1. Corporate Funding & Listings in Stock Exchanges

  2. Multidisciplinary Case Studies (The examination for this paper will be open book examination)

  3. Electives 1 out of below 8 subjects (The examination for this paper will be open book examination):

    1. Banking – Law & Practice

    2. Insurance– Law & Practice

    3. Intellectual Property Rights– Laws and Practices

    4. Forensic Audit

    5. Direct Tax Law & Practice

    6. Labour Laws & Practice

    7. Valuations & Business Modelling

    8. Insolvency – Law and Practice

Total Course Fee at the times of registration: INR 13,000 (Rs.12,000 + Rs.1000 Pre-Examination Test Fee).

Total application fee for appearing in the examination: INR 1200 per module.

General Guidelines

To register for ICSI CS Foundation/Executive/Professional programme, the candidates need to keep the following list of documents ready:

  1. Photograph of the candidate

  2. Signature of the candidate

  3. DOB certificate (or 10th pass certificate)

  4. Roll number (if appearing in 10+2)

  5. 12th passing certificate/marksheet

  6. Identity Proof (Aadhar Card/Passport/Voter ID/Pan Card/Driving License/Ration Card)

  7. Category Certificate (if belonging to SC/ST or physically handicapped)

Application for appearing in the examinations

The last date for submission for application is:

  • 25th March (with late fee of Rs. 250, 9th April) for June examination.

  • 25th September (with late fee of Rs. 250, 10th October) for December examination. 

 

Medium of Examination

The Institute allows facility to students to appear in examination in English as well as in Hindi. (Except Business Communication subject of Foundation Program).

 

 Qualifying Marks

A candidate is declared to have passed the Foundation / Executive / Professional examination, if he/she secures at one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects.
